I have to replace 26 windows in a 66 year old house. These are old wood windows that have NEVER been replaced. I’m looking at a double pane, double hung, Shuco windows w/ a 25 year warranty. I recently got an estimate for $14,100 total (including windows, installation, removal of old windows, taxes, etc). In addition, they will replace my front door and install it at no additional cost. I’m in the DC area and while I have gotten other quotes from other vendors, I was wondering if this particular merchant was offering me a good deal.Submited by:malschen

I keep getting connected to a wireless network from across the street. The adapter is just like a plug in thing, there is no programs along with it. How do I switch networks?
I am running Windows 98. There is no wireless icon.

I have three computers in my house. I have no space for printers so i just want to combine them over my network. All these different computers have different operating systems however. Would i be able to buy a network printer that is compatible with vista, xp, and windows 7? Which printer should i buy.Submited by:lionsfan57

whosajiggawhat? asked:
we are considering buying a home at this developer’s lot and we are wondering what typical add-ons and upgrades cost, such as a pool, nicer counter tops, an island, patio overhangs and what not. What would you suggest we have the builder do and what should we have dont after by a contractor or ourselves?

I have a small bathroom and toilet which I would like to decorate myself but have absolutely no design ideas. I am looking for some simple, attractive designs but everything on the web seems to be too plush and costly. Does anyone have any ideas as to where I can view photos of simple bathroom designs? I am looking mainly for ideas for decoration rather than replacement bathroom furniture. Alternatively, are there any people out there with good design skills who would be willing to offer me some design suggestions?Submited by:cubix

Blake H asked:
For power tools would I need a Miter Saw, a Circular Saw, and a Jigsaw? Also, does Bosch or DeWalt make better saws. And if Bosch or DeWalt don’t make good saws who does? I want to have a reasonably priced saw that works good, I sorta have a budget since im 15. Thanks!
lol, i wish i did have someone to help me.
